The Team behind
All garments are made in India. In collaboration with a small family-owned business company called the Blockprintcompany, placed in the Jaipur, Rajasthan. Local made with little transportation since the company work closely with local artisans and dedicated printers. Using ecofriendly and low impact materials always sourcing by locals.
Cotton
San10 only use organically grown fibers. Choosing organic produced cotton is make without using pesticides. Organic production makes a slow growth of the cotton plants and uses less water.
The luxury high quality that Organic Cotton provides, gives the feeling of smoothness, softness and gives the garment long durability.
Block print
Every block print is unique and has a special story behind it. The true artist is the artisan behind the wood block carved by hand, to the hand block print technic to the final drying. With the understandings about this craftmanship you truly appreciate every block print.
The colors
Bring life to the print and are made of natural material and blended by hand. From a few color basics, the artisan behind can blend any color. The natural color has a brightness and depth, that distinguish it from other print. It’s a slow process and all fabrics are dried in open air.
Craftmanship
All items in each product are local made in small workshops. Each workshop has specialized artisans making embroideries, tassels and attachment beads, sequins etc. Which offers a unique product which cannot be copied by the fashion industry.
We care
San10 aims for a none waste product with consideration and respect for the environment and nature we live in. San10 have chosen more expensive solutions to meet this promise. The none use of plastic or metal pins only recycle polybags for packing in transport. Choosing organic produced cotton is without using pesticides. Organic production makes a slow growth of the cotton plants and less use of water. Using natural colors, drying the fabric in air and many hand process is slow production and also using less chemicals in print and dying process. The none fashion look, long durability, slow production, local made and less transportation makes San10 garments an almost sustainable product.
